AHEC Medical Job Shadowing Days! AHEC Medical Job Shadowing Days are October 9th and November 4th. Deadlines to register are Sept 17th and Oct 19th. Forms are available in Mrs. Baker's Office. Must be a junior or senior. Priority given to those who have not attended previously. Also students must take the online HIPAA test before attending and follow dress code guidelines and registration format. See Mrs. Baker if interested.


Southeast Community College Career Day: at the Milford Campus is scheduled Wednesday, Nov., 5, 8:30 am - 2:15 pm. This includes such programs as John Deere Tech, Ford ASSET, Chrysler CAP, Diesel Tech. etc. Must register by October 24 by calling 1-800-933-7223 ext 8331.


NECC Career Day for Applied Technology - Friday, October 24. Northeast Community College will host a career day in the field of Applied Technology on October 24 from 9:20 - 2:00 pm. Seven different programs presented are auto body, automotive technology, building construction, diesel technology, electrical technology, electrical technology, electromechanical, renewable fuels technology, irrigation technology, heating and ventilation, air conditioning, and utility line. Coming soon to a library near you! The library has ordered the other books in the Twilight series, but all but one of them are already out of stock...very popular series. CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS: Congratulations to the Coleridge-Laurel-Concord Cross Country Team who placed 2nd in both the girls and boys divisions Friday, October 3rd in Plainview. Nick Burbach took 4th place with a time of 18:51; Ethan Curry's time was 21:03 and placed him 21st; and Kellen York finished out 36th place with a time of 25:06. Katie Jacobsen placed 1st with a time of 15:41 in the girl's. Their next competition is the NENAC meet in Antelope County Tuesday, October 7.


JOSTENS - SENIORS CAP AND GOWNS AND SOPHOMORE CLASS RINGS! The Josten's rep will be at school Wednesday, November 12 at 1:30 p.m. for sophomore class rings and at 2 p.m. for seniors' announcements and caps and gowns.

HEALTH HAPPENINGS AT USD - TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11. USD Sanford Medical Center and the South Dakota Department of Education are hosting a Health Happenings and Scrubs Camp on Tuesday, November 11 @ the new Lee Medical Building on the USD campus from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is designed to showcase and promote health science careers. Four breakout sessions and keynote speakers. Tell Mrs. Baker if interested.
